Peaceful Aquamarine
This month is all about the beautiful Aquamarine! The name is from the Latin word aqua (water) and marina (sea). Aquamarine evokes the purity of crystalline waters, and the exhilaration and relaxation of the sea. It is calming, soothing, and cleansing, and inspires truth, trust and letting go. It helps in healing and relieving stress as well as dealing with anxiety.
Aquamarine accelerates the intellectual reasoning processes and enhances the ability for rapid response.
In ancient times, people believed that Aquamarine kept sailors and mariners safe. They even used powder of Aquamarine to cure infections. But they also used it as gifts at weddings, wore it to protect themselves from poisoning, and believed it could attract friends.
